My Story

“If you knew how to build, you could get investors to work with you anytime you want.”

That moment lit a fire in me. I had just learned the hard truth: there's a clear line between who people should trust to get a return on their money—and who they should not.

Within a year, I taught myself how to code and embarked on a journey to learn how small companies grow to multiple million dollar enterprises by choosing the right type of leverage—technology.

I also became a professional developer at Shopify (a global commerce platform that has processed over $1 trillion+ in GMV). I spent 3+ years creating leveraging by writing code that still runs on every Shopify store today.

Before that, I often felt like I was behind the curve—watching technology move faster than I could keep up. Because of that hiring developers was always a constant headache as it was impossible to tell a good developer from a bad one.

That changed after I won a pitch competition, and the investor from earlier in the story convinced me to learn how to build myself. Instead of constantly looking for good developers, I decided to become one.

Now, I combine that experience with a profit-first mindset—knowing when a low-code tool, fully custom-coded system, or something in between is the best path forward. Unlike traditional dev shops, I don't believe in holding people hostage with complex solutions that constantly need fixing.

My approach is simple: solve problems like a business partner and build what drives growth—nothing more, nothing less.
